Biggs: Campbell returns for Redskins

Durable Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell has returned to start the third quarter of his team’s game tonight at FedEx Field against the New York Giants.

Campbell was led off the field just before the end of the first half with a shoulder injury. He was sacked from behind by Giants’ defensive end Osi Umenyiora and driven into the turf. It appeared that Campbell landed on the ball.

He was replaced by veteran Todd Collins, and the offense drove downfield before trying the most bizarre of fake field goals on the final play of the half, a play that didn’t work.
