Bears DE Turk McBride ruptures Achilles tendon

Chicago Bears defensive end Turk McBride suffered a season-ending injury today, rupturing his Achilles tendon and being carted off the field.

The Bears' defensive line already doesn't have Sedrick Ellis, who abruptly retired before the start of camp after being signed a month ago.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Tribune reported that offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod sustained a minor calf strain.

And wide receiver Brandon Marshall didn't practice as he works his way back from arthroscopic hip surgery from January.
