As the New Orleans Saints make the transition to a 3-4 defense under Rob Ryan, they’re looking for pieces that will fit the new scheme.

They’ve got one accustomed to playing for Ryan as the Saints are signing defensive end Kenyon Coleman, according to Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Coleman will get a one-year deal.

Not only has Coleman played for Ryan in Dallas, he also played for him previously in Cleveland. The 33-year-old made five starts last season for the Cowboys and started 15 games in 2011. He’s a durable run stopper and will be a role player in New Orleans.
