The NFL has fined Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed $55,000 for his hit on Victor Cruz of the New York Giants, according to Jay Glazer of FoxSports.

Earlier this season, the NFL had suspended Reed for a game because of repeat violations, but later that suspension was rescinded and turned into a $50,000 for the Ravens safety.
